Ainhoa went as a summer au pair near Toulouse (France) and in her own words, she spent the best summer of her life surrounded by incredible people.
I went for two months to a small town in the south of France, very close to Bordeaux and Toulouse and it was the best experience of my life! There I had the great good fortune to meet wonderful people, to know beautiful places and to improve in an incredible way my French in a lovely family and perfect for me.
The family corresponded totally with my tastes and interests and the girl was lovely despite being very young (one year). They were great with me and treated me like one of the family, taking me to lunch with the rest of the family, going out with the parents (I was lucky they were very young) and with people I met in the same place, talking with me and asking me everything I liked and what I did not ... They treated me like a lifelong friend and not at all like I was just the girl who was going to take care of her daughter.
It has been a very enriching experience and, without a doubt, I will repeat next summer as it is the only period of time in which I am available. I probably go back to the same house with the same family because, really, time flew by and everyone wanted (including me) to stay longer, but for some circumstances it was impossible.
Not only turns back home with the feeling of having greatly improved a language, but with the joy of having spent the best summer of your life surrounded by incredible people.

Nuestras au pair ha sido super cariñosa con nuestra niñaSomos una familia que vive en un pueblo llamado Alegria-Dulantzi (Álava) y es la primera vez que acogemos a una au pair. Ella es inglesa de Newcastle de 23 años y queremos contaros que ha sido una experiencia super positiva, que ha cuidado maravillosamente de nuestra hija.
Ha sido super cariñosa y siempre alerta con nuestra hija y muy discreta en todo momento y, sobre todo, muy humana en todos los sentidos. Se ha integrado fenomenal con nosotros pero también con todo el resto de la familia que, por cierto, la adoran.
Ha sabido desempeñar su trabajo con creces y mi hija de 8 años la ha sentido como una hermana en todo momento. Ella ha estado con nosotros 3 meses. Te querremos siempre como una hija, Fran.
Mi hija ha aprendido más lo que es compartir y respetarse en el día a día de la convivencia. Y, por supuesto, ha aprendido muchísimo inglés. Ahora el 2 de junio ha regresado a su casa y estamos muy tristes y la echamos mucho de menos.
