How many hours should an au pair work?

The working hours of an au pair vary according to the host country. In some countries, such as Germany or the United States, there are official rules. In others, such as Australia, there is no official au pair program. In any case, according to our philosophy of the au pair program, an au pair should not work more than 30 hours a week. Kangaroo hours should be counted as work hours.
